Quest for Learn Featured in The New York Times

This week, our friends at Quest for Learn were featured in both a lengthy article in The New York Times and in a video, on nytimes.com. The central theme of the feature focuses on a hypothetical question, "What if, instead of seeing school the way we’ve known it, we saw it for what our children dreamed it might be: a big, delicious video game?"

Quest to Learn is organized specifically around the idea that digital games are central to the lives of today’s children and also increasingly, as their speed and capability grow, powerful tools for intellectual exploration.

We Give Books Launches Jumpstart Campaign

Yesterday, We Give Books launched its Jumpstart Read for the Record campaign, to raise awareness of early literacy. Many of you have participated in previous reading events and have watched such celebrities as actress Mary-Louise Parker kick off Jumpstart's Read for the Record Day on NBC's TODAY show in the past, and this year we're hoping you'll join in the celebration once again.  We Give Books has also created a special digital reader for this year's featured book, Ezra Jack Keats' A Snowy Day, which you can view by clicking here.
