We Give Books Reaches First Milestone

Our new charitable initiative, We Give Books, has been a runaway success in its first couple of months. Since its launch in April, readers have helped to donate more than 10,000 books so far to eight literacy charities across the US, Haiti, Asia and eastern & southern Africa. For every children's Penguin book read on the site, the Pearson Foundation will donate a new hardcover or paperback book to the charity the reader has chosen to support.
