Dave Mathews Tunes Up for Jane Goodall

Five decades after our friend Dr. Jane Goodall stepped onto the shores of Lake Tanganyika to further her study of chimpanzees, her work as a conservationist and primatologist is known around the world—and the event marking this milestone anniversary includes a benefit concert hosted by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Matthews, who has made his respect for the environment clear by partnering with the Green Music Group and Reverb to put an eco-friendly spin on his tours with the Dave Matthews Band, will take to the stage at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., this Thursday alongside fellow guitarist Tim Reynolds as part of Gombe 50: "a global celebration of Jane Goodall's pioneering chimpanzee research and inspiring vision for our future."
